This is just wrong!!
I saw that auction also. Not a nice thing to do to a bass.
It's amazing that some scumbagg could do that to a Gibson.
Hangin is to good. I vote to beat him down with the bass and find out iffn his head has amazing hardness. My bet is the head will win.
Who thinks like that? Must have been a guitar player. Thank God it wasn't a Fender.
OMG!! It's the soughtafter GOURD BASS!!
I just have two words for that: Holy crap!
I think instead of using the term "customized" he should have used "butchered" that's horrible! The only way to justify that is if the body was ran over bay a car, and it's a fretless!
Is it just me, or would that muck up the balance something terrible?
You know, I thought about doing something similar to my Ripper, but I don't take that stuff no more. JUST SAY WHOA!
it's like the Grabber's evil twin...
you couldn't even play that bass on your lap...it'd slip right down
I kinda like it*blush*
it's no Grabber though...
Hey, the reserve is only $400!
It's bouzouki time........EVERYBODY, HOPA!!!
Of course, chopping up ANY whole bass like that should be punished by sticking thin guitar string under their nails, but...
Nothing done to those Gibson's could improve their sound so...so what?
I think it looks beautiful and VERY practical!!
customized? sort of like how I "customized" my car when I rear ended someone going 40 mph.
i think it's ironically appropriate considering what gibson has done to a few very fine bass and bass amp companies.
can you say T_O_B_I_A_S ??
hey , that Gibson was modeled to look like a quarter note- it's genious, i tell ya!
Quarter-note, huh? Hmmm. Good arguement. What about the headstock?
