I've already put in a word about a 2-way with mid using their Quake 15 Sub and 6 mid. Maybe even a 3-way using their tweeters. I don't know that this would compete with GB's fEarful, but it seems like it would be nicer than a 2-way LF and Tweet cab.

    No Thiele-Small specs mentioned.
And they proudly advertise heavy magnet weight - welcome to the 80's

Well, yeah. Stuff's heavy and not very well designed, now. That's why I wrote to them suggesting what basically amounts to a non-neo fEarful. I did mention Neo drivers, but realistically that's more expense and they're probably not going to do it. Still, it might get the mid + LF concept more general exposure. Honestly, could you argue that the drivers I suggested in, say their 2X15 cab, with an appropriate baffle, porting, etc. wouldn't sound better than that 4X10?

No, but that's only because their 4x10 is such a poor example of cab design. I think if you compared a poorly-designed 15+6 against a well-designed 4x10, it's not such an easy call.

Sorry for participating in the perversion of your design, GB. I doubt they'll actually make the thing anyway. Even then, consider the price point. Less than $200 for a cab is almost giving it away.
