Nice bass Andy! The flip side is that you can't buy a new MIA fretless P in America. :D

you don't look even remotely like a turkey, andy.

oh, sorry, nevermind. nice bass, btw. :D
  4. I really like this idea of fretting a fretless neck. I am drawn to the blank fretboard look. It's also a fairly inexpensive way to get an ebony fretboard with frets. Just keen!

I prefer a blank fretboard, too. Some of those Warriors give me the willies:eek:

    Nice P, Andy.
  6. Thank you. It is a nice bass. A keeper. As I believe I may have said before, it has been my main gigging bass for a year and a half now, which is the longest I have ever regularly used a bass.

  7. was it originaly a Lined Fretless, or was it Un-lined. If unlined, how is the intonation between all the frets?
  8. It was a lined fretless, as indeed are all production fretless Fender basses, as far as I know.

    The intonation is fine.

One thing, apropos of nothing, that I want to emphasise is that I never wanted a fretless P bass. I always wanted a fretted one. My reason for fretting this fretless was simply that I could not find a new fretted P for sale in Turkey at the time.

I got this fretless at a 50% discount as they couldn't shift it....
