Sell my Cirrus to buy a Fender?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by semborg, Sep 12, 2005.

  1. I am thinking of selling my Cirrus 5 Fretless to get a Fender jazz bass instead. I want a Geddy Lee (because of the bridge), But I want natural finnish.

    I already have a Cirrus 6 too.

    You have any opinions?

Never sell a bass to buy another bass, unless you just dont like it. You'll always regret it. Id just save up for the Geddy f you want one.
  3. Do NOT sell it, speaking as a fellow Swede AND cirrus lover.
  4. Well I do like my Cirrus 5 fretless.
And I do like my Cirrus 6 fretless.
(Both walnut but looks very different, the 6 is way lighter and more grainy wood.)

    But I want a fretted 4 string.
    A jazz bass.

I love the natural vintage model, with black color on the side of the neck.
  5. You can get the Geddy bass for 8800 at Musikbörsen. If you don't need the fretless, why not sell it. But I opt you to try the Geddy out first.

  8. Yes, I'll support everyone's opinion!
Just save money, wait a bit (it' not much expensive!) and you'll get it.
    A 4, 5, and 6 strings! Very good....;)

Never sell a bass to get another, you'll always be dissapointed and regret it, besides, a 4,5 and 6 together would be even more fun :D.
  10. I think you guys are right.
I will start save money instead :smug:
