Selling a bass w/ mods?

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Nomadic Herder, Nov 6, 2002.

  1. I'm thinking of selling my Jazz bass soon. (Have major GAS for a 5 string) It has a new bridge and new pickups on it. I still have the originals. Would I be better off leaving it as is, or putting the original parts back on and selling the new parts separately? Thanks.

  2. I don't need any of the parts. They wouldn't fit on a 5 string. :p I was actually thinking selling the bass as stock, then the pickups and the bridge separately. It would just seem like I'd get more money that way.

I don't think the mods will get you any more money, in fact most people would pay less for a modded jazz, a MIA especially so.
