Selling my cab

  1. For christmas i got a 1972 acoustic 140 head with a 301 body. Execellent condition, still brusts out the sound, has one BIG 18" speaker equaling 200 watts. It hasn't been played since 1976 & the guy that had it before me played it just in his house, no gigs or anything, just soft settled playing. I am thinking about selling it because it is not loud enough for my band, ( we are EXTREMLY loud:eek: ), so how much should i ask canadain preferably, or i can count it out from american.:D
  2. hmmmmmmm,

    1972 eh???

5 bucks, yes.. thats fair price, ill take it off your hands if you like.. but ill pay you 6 bucks just cause im a decent guy
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA, your a big comedian ain't ya? i want serious enquiries. I have been told that i can get this for at least $3000 american, so i am tryin to see if its true. I was told by a expert that i could get it for that much.

Fat chance. Even a hard-core Acoustic collector (if there is such a thing) would probably consider $1K a lot for this rig. If you can figure out how to ship it via freight, you're only hope is probably EBay. I'd be very surprised to see it go for much more than $800. Good luck. And no, I don't want it! :D

$800 is pretty optimistic. I sold my 360 for $600 on Ebay. I'd say $500 US is probably what its worth.
Be sure the buyer can afford the shipping. big $$$$
