I am a big fan of Anthony Jackson and Modulus. I love the sound that he gets from his hands and his bass. However, he has a custom Fodera semi-hollow singlecut with one custom wound pup and no onboard pre. The sound is ciming from his hands and a little outboard eq'ing. Does anhybody have any experience with semi-hollow basses? What are some of the chracteristics of these type of basses? Any information regarding semi-hollow features specifically relating to Modulus quantums would be especially appreciated. I have a regular Q5 now and I like it a lot, but Ithink that the onboard bart sometimes muddies things up. I am going to see if Modulus would bypass a preamp for me if I wanted them to. Thanks for any info, Marc
