Semi hollow bodies, upper bouts.

  1. hey guys!
Just looking at starting up a semi-hollow body electric by just making the upper bout (or upper wing) hollow. Are there any problems with doing this? I understand if i'm looking at making it a sixer, I may need to look at some ultra-light tuners to avoid neck dive... but having the upper bout hollow and the lower not doesn't have any adverse effects does it?

There shouldn't be any problems with this.
