semore duncan cabs?

    anybody ever heard of a semor duncan 2/10 cab? I found one for $200 but it has "pile" speakers,I have never heard of those either.

    I think you mean Pyle speakers. They've been around since the 60's but all I think they're known for these days are car speakers.

    I wouldn't doubt the SD amp has speakers designed for them by Pyle. I never used on. Just remember seeing a small ad for an SD a long time ago.

    Duncan did make pro-quality bass amps in the mid 80s. The heads (600 and 800 (!!) watts) were actually very well made and sounded good. The only Duncan cab I ever played through was a 1-15".

    You could check with Duncan to see if Pyles are factory originals (I don't think so).

    $200 would be a fair price if it's in good condition.
