Seperating Combo

I was poking into my Behringer 300x combo to see if I could remove the head from the speaker cab and when I removed the control panel all I found was a bundle of wires leading into to the cabinet, so after further investigation (looking through the vent holes in the rear of the cab) it looks like the cables from the control panel are leading to a heat sink and a round cyclindrical device which I assume is the power amp, basically my question is if I open the cabinet and remove the wiring for the head and all the components and mount them in a case can I use them seperately?
