Don't know much about sequencing lest the fact that you need a sequencer, a sound module, and something to program it with. My question:

Can preprogrammed MIDI sequences be found for free (or inexpensively) on the internet for cover songs to be used with a band. I'm not talking about MIDI versions of songs, I'm talking about the actual keyboard parts that would be played throughout the songs - or something close to it.

Also, what would be an affordable, user friendly sequencer I could use that isn't computer based. One I could take to gigs.

In other words - I'm looking for a keyboard player without wanting to hire one. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.
