Does anyone have a Plum Serek? I really like the look of that color based on this chart.
Count me in! Just got it Monday & it just sings!
That's gorgeous. What's the fretboard wood?
Thanks. It’s ebony.

So count me in the fan club!
I just got my hands on an impressive Serek Lincoln, and could not be happier.
These always reminded me of the Gibson Ripper, yet playing this one, it's like Jake and crew have turned the Ripper's weaknesses into strengths. The Lincoln is lighter and has four useful tones. It's a great bass and I was so impressed with the build quality and feel that I placed an order on a Midwestern that should be ready in November. It looks like some of you could give me advice on how to pass the time (besides playing my already in-hand Serek, that is).
Nice I have a Lincoln too. Does that bridge cover fit over the standard bridge Serek includes? Or is it a different bridge?
Looks like a Hipshot B style.
Hondo's new Lincoln 6 string sounds incredible!!!
Yep, it's a Hipshot B Style bridge. The first owner ordered it to mimic the Ripper bridge cover. My old Ripper had the same cover, so that was an added bonus.
Anyone on here waiting for a build?
Yep, I think there are a few people waiting on builds in here. I'm waiting for a 5-string Midwestern 2, should be ready around October.
That's great. I'm waiting on a 4-string Midwestern that's due in November.
Nice, we're both in Portland too! What options did you get?
I noticed that too! I'm getting a fairly standard Midwestern with the Guild Bisonic.
My custom options include:
matching headstock (the bass will be in gray)
So, mainly stock, but with a few options to make it my own.
Jake's announced a new model, presumably The Grand from last year's NAMM
