Good to see we will get more Serek owners in PDX. Here's my Portland-based Midwestern.

That is a beauty! Yeah, there's a handful of us here in Portland. Is your B90 equipped with the dummy coil fenjazz?

This Grand bass imo would look much better with a 4 in-line headstock instead of the standard Serek 2x2 setup.

I don't dig it, but I'm sure some people will. It's definitely unique.

$1850 isn't bad. I like that body shape and PG, and the tilted pickup is interesting. Looks like he's only made 3 in this run?

I’m liking it. I’d like to see one without the comp stripe though.

At $1,850, I'd be scrambling to get the funds together...... if it was 34" scale. :-(

I'm sure he could make a 34" scale one. Or is this just a limited run?

    According to Serek:
***The Grand will be built in batches semiannually and sold first come, first served. They are not customizable, nor pre-orderable. Thanks for your patience and understanding.***

I like everything except the pickup. I just don't get along with humbuckers on bass. There's an ever present midrange honk that I can never seem to get rid of, and I can hear it in that demo. I think it sounds great when other people have it, but when it comes from me it just sounds wrong to my ears.

Same, I wish it had a different pickup option. Otherwise I think it's pretty sweet

Actually now that I've slept on it, I'm warming up to it a bit.

How big of a discount is this compared to if you spec'd out the same options as a custom?

...and now they're gone! Three people dug them enough to pull the trigger.

I would have been more tempted if I didn't have a Midwestern build in process right now.

It looks like he's going to do these in small batches "semiannually." I think it's a cool strategy, especially if each run has some unique aesthetics or features.

I meant how much would a bass with those options cost through the normal order process? How much of a discount do you get by buying this stock version? Doesn't have to be exact specs, but just a ballpark estimate.

The other models have a range of $2100 - $2350.

This one is obviously unique in that it's a bolt on short scale and so on, but this limited run is about 10% less than the base models.
