Seth Horan

    Hi all...

    I'm new to the boards here. I had no idea there was anything this cool to get involved in online...

    ...but as long as I'm here, I want to ask about a bassist I just found out about recently; Seth Horan. A friend of mine saw him open for a songwriter in Connecticut and told me about him, so I checked out his tunes online. He doesn't kill me with chops, but he's a singer/songwriter who does his shows just playing a Warwick 5 and singing, and the ways he pulls it off are pretty bad ass! He grabs techniques from the Wooten camp, but what I dig are the Manring nods he throws in... syncopated stuff that he actually SINGS over... pretty interesting stuff. There are MP3s of him with a band around, but the stuff I've found that's just him solo is what I dig most. Anyone else here heard of him?
