I use to have a 3.0 10T and it was awesome but my needs changed and I swapped it. I bet I would have kept the 6.0 12T. I like the idea of a removable head to hook up to a big cab while having the combo to use at home or as a stage monitor. The 12Ts are hard to find and I keep missing out on them when they do come up. Are there other setups like this with an easily detachable head? I tried to the Ampeg PF stuff but wasn't too happy with the power rating. Seemed pretty wimpy, of course that was years ago. What else am I missing out on? My searches have not brought results. I am a fan of the Fender Rumble line...wish it came as a Shuttle setup.
Since you asked: Homepage - Genzler Amplification Check out the NEW this week --- MG350-MG12-COMBO. It is kind of a cross between the 2 models you mentioned in your original post. Send me a PM if you have any specific questions.
The Aguilar AG500 was available as a 1x12 combo (other cab options too). It’s not 2 thumbs screws but 4 regular screws on top holding the head in. You’d want to put it in a rack case to bring to a gig. Not the same as the Shuttle quick change, but still an option.
