   I'm working on doing this version of this song with a three pc jazz group. It's all new to me, though I can learn this bassline by ear.

   The keyboard who is usually very good is really stuck.
   
   Any thoughts on the progression or what could work?
   
   The basic riff is that F F Ab F Eb C# C E repeat.
   
   What key or jazz type chords could work with this?
