    Seymour Duncan AJJ-1 " Pro-Active "
Seymour Duncan AJJ-2 "Lightnin' Rods "

    which is the difference ?

I'm looking for a "warm" P.u. with a lot of "Presence" and Low frequencies,
I love the sound of Seymour Duncan "EQ" (with three switchs)

I've had the eq dip pups (3 dip J's and 2 dip PJ's) and the Lightn'n Rods. The LR's are reveiwed in the Dimento J experiment in FAQ. The dips I had before I started the experiments. The presence aspect seems to fit but in recall they were about adequate at best on the low end, a refined Fender tone in my experience and sounded very much like a pair of Fender Lace Sensors I had. The dips were a nice touch and innovation I thought. Haven't had those without the dips.

I don't remember what the LR's sounded like. Steve Bailey Fretless pups I like but they're actually fairly dark and don't have the presence.

Kind of wierd that no sooner does SD discontinue them then people start talking about them and looking for them. I've seen a lot more comment since they were discontinued than I ever saw when they were available.
