Does this pickup and tone circuit combo employ trimpots or are the tone controls to be adjusted externally?

also,if i change my mind about the preamp can i use it together with the aguilar op1 which has only two tone controls?

the trimpots are for the slap contour - the mid cut is fixed I believe, but the trimpots let you control the bass and treble boost that occurs when you pull the switch.

And yes, you can use the pickup with an obp-1 if you so decide.

    i don't get it.
are the output of the trimpots complementary to the external knob adjusted controls?

or say for example,if the mid uses trimpot, then i won't be able to adjust mids via the knob controls.

Like I said, the trimpots are for the slap contour only.

You still have bass/mid/treble eq knobs.

Why not go the basslines.com website , where you can get more information?
