    Hi I am thing of buying a SD STC3M4 preamp.
    I have noticed that the volume pot has a push pull on it . What does this switch do I have looked on the SD web site & they dont tell you what it does .
    Any 1 know what it does ? thanks

    It's referred to as the "slap switch" in many places. What it really does is enabling a preset EQ shape with scooped mids, boosted highs and lows. You can set the amount of the boost and scoop using the trimpots on the PCB.
