I'm thinking about putting these in a old p bass I have while I got it down putting a new neck on it.I've never used them was just wondering what you all thought about them.

I like them. Keep them low away from the strings if you want to tame the aggressive nature of the QP. That gives me a vintage flavor with a little more girth than one of the typical vintage wound pickups.

I'm happy with my PJ set. You do need to dial in the height.

I read this and with advise from Johnson I lowered my Jazz 1/4 pounders and it sound awesome.I kept moving up and down for an half hour or so playing scales up and down the neck and found my sweet spot.
