Seymour Duncan split coils vs Fender split coils

    Anyone know who makes a better pickup, I'm guessing the Seymour Duncan split coil p-bass styles are better than the Fender split coild p-bass style.

    The word "styles" isnt what you mean, but yeah, IMO, you are right. The Seymours are much much better, to my ear anyway.

    I don't feel like I'm going out on a limb when I say that all aftermarket pickups,from the best known companies,are going to be superior to the Fender pups.I have a DiMarzio "split P" in my standard p-bass and it blows away the stock Fender pup.I've heard that the Barts,Seymour Duncans etc. are even better..but pricier.
