Sgt Peppers CD - (How Do I Know) Which Version To Get ?

    So I get the idea I want Sgt Peppers on CD.

    I do a search and get different releases.

    I just want whatever is closest to the original LP version.

    How does one know which one to get?

    I must be getting old, 'cause this kind of S#!+ is really ...................................:banghead: .............:D

    The first CD issued was terrible. If you want the stereo version, this is a very nice sounding edition:

    Get the mono, it's the way The Beatles intended it to be listened.

    I never actually learned to play very well
    What mellowinman said. The 2009 remaster sounds very good. The 50th Anniversary Remix sounds incredible.

    Mono sucks. :)

    No CD can replicate the album given the "dog track" at the end of side 2. Without exaggerating, it never ends.
