I'm running out of words to describe just how sick this dude is!:rollno::hyper::meh::confused::cool::p

A Groove is a Terrible Thing to Waste!

  4. It's to the point with him that I simply say "Sharay!" and that explains all the of funky sickness :)

That clip took a while to get going, IMO. Sharay Reed is blessed with the greatest thing anyone can have, originality. Being good is a matter of hard work, being original takes inspiration that everyone just does not have.

Seeing him always killing on the same old humble Jazz is a very powerful argument against GAS!:bassist:

I was just saying the same thing after I saw Prince dismantle a jazz bass the other night. Nothing like a well built Fender J.

IMO, it's not so much about Jazz basses, it's about finding what works for you, and focusing on the music. IMO, that has been the secret of more than a few great players.

I'm not "floored" but it's nice work. I can dig a nice groove.

Sharay is so great... I could listen to him, Chris Dave and Chris Loftlin all day long.

He rips it pretty hard here

Off topic. That Gretchen Parlato tune "Weak" is pretty hot and so is she.
