Found a NOS Sterling in my favorite EB finish of all time, Pearl Lavender. They stopped making this colour in 2002, and this one was made in June of 2000 and had been sitting in the store ever since. Still had the original slinkys installed. (read: dead as hell). Best of all I got it for a used type price and its in perfect condition. I know not everybody will dig the finish, but I think its pretty cool.

And no, I didn't choose my strings based on the purple silks.

I like the matching headstock. Makes me wonder if I should have ordered my bass w/ a matching headstock (not an ebmm though).
  9. Wow... just... wow!

Looks beautiful. The finish is very reminiscen of burgundy mist to me as well. The pearloid looks beautiful against the finish, as does that maple fretboard. You definitely scored on this one, I love me a sterling too. If you ever sell, I call dibs :p

Hey, we won't give you crap about owning a purple bass, but everyone else in the free world probably will. :D Nice score.

I'm not a big fan of MM basses, but the pearloid with that color makes that bass look really classy. Nice score! There's nothing better than finding and getting what you've been searching for. Congrats!

String it up with DR's new pink strings and man that thing would look awesome, still looks pretty damn cool now, I really dig the colour, screw masculinity.

I love it. My favorite color aside from the hard-to-find Stratus Sparkle.
