    been on`ludes the day they made mine -- it blows! :(

  6. Meeeow. I saw an 8-string with those cat eye thingies in a Musician's Friend magazine (at least, MF called them cat eyes).

    They are also called "F holes", because most of them have F shape, or similar....

    OOhh God i know too much......:rolleyes:

    ... "cat's eye f-hole(s)" ;) would be the propah term, I guess :) .
     
  9. I played the 8 string version of that....It sounds great, kinda like a keyboard is backing up the bassline....I would love to get my paws on the 12 just for giggles.....

    BTW "FunkSlapRumblefish" they sell for $350-$400 new....obviously the 8 and 12 are more....

    I have been investigating the 8 string, and waiting for one to come in at my local music stop.... I have read some really good things about them, and would love to try one on...
