Shielding a Strat

    So, my guitarist just got a new guitar. It is annoying as hell. Can't turn up past 2 notches and thing just outright can't be played at our levels. I put coppe tape on the inside and screwed a small screw into the bass. Now what? I read the guitarnuts.com but A) I didn't fully understand it and B) It seemed to be overkill.

    I should also mention that his strat is not stock. It has 2 sets of humbuckers and even though the knobs say V T T, it's actually V V T. Also, instead of a 5 switch selector it's a 3.

    Fast advise would be great!

    I'm guessing this is the wrong forum? I'll wait some more, hopefully someone can have some insight.
