    Hello,
I need to ship an ABG including case. What method is the most secure while still being economical? How should I pack it and where can I got a box for it?
    thanks so much!

If you can't find an instrument box....I've found that Bike boxes work well, and they are usually more sturdy than a guitar box. Also, they are usually free at your local bike shop!

I just shipped one a couple of weeks ago. Costs via UPS was 53.00. Costs via Fedex Ground was 37.00 (I went with Fedex Ground.) I would advise against shipping without a box. The bass may arrive OK but the case would be scarred. Be careful, if you have it packed and shipped (Mailboxes etc, UPS store) they wil rip you a new one! I suggest you ask your local music store if they a box that will fit (I found one beside the dumpster!)
