I'm in the process of shipping some gear to Poland. Fortunately for the buyer and me, I'm in the Chicago area and can use Polemer Inc. who charges just $0.60 per pound plus a $5.00 service/insurance fee.

My dilemma seems to be in how the buyer can get the money to the US. PayPal won't accept his credit card issued from a Polish bank.

Have any of you done this and how was payment sent?

I did a google search and came up with Has anyone used them?

Although the international shipping hassles have done me in on locations other than Canada on one deal with another TBer in Italy he paid me via Western Union. I went to a local WU outlet (in certain grocery stores here) with all the right info on the transaction and walked out with cash. So that might work for you if WU has branches in Poland.

You could also use an International Money Order (American Express), but the fees are not too small.

if you use Western Union, be careful with fees, and also make sure you have buyer's shipping info, ive had problems dealing with WU and they are a pain in the ass.
