Shipping to UK?

  1. Fellow TB'ers... my uncle in Reading UK just passed away and I will be making a trip to UK from NY in the next two weeks.

If anyone needs a bass "hand carried" to the UK from Buffalo NY, y'all have a week or so to make the arrangments! I'd be willing to transport an instrument to help out fellow low enders. No charge, but I'll have to be allowed to "noodle"
on it with clean hands! ;)

I'll be flying into and out of Heathrow, God help me.

    Peace.

Have a safe trip. Sorry to hear about your uncle. I've been in and out of Heathrow a bunch when I was in the Air Force. I'm originally from Buffalo and was there last summer. I now live the warmer part of the country San Antonio, TX. Mighty nice of you.

  4. Sorry for your loss.
As an international TBer who bought three basses from the US during the last year (two from fellow TBers) I definitely appreciate your generous offer. Not for me but for the lowenders in the UK. I hope someone will take advantage of your kindness.
    Cheers!

Very generous of you. I am so proud to be part of the TB brotherhood

  6. Gents (and ladies), I have no idea of my timings, I just found out he passed this morning. My best guess is late next week at the earliest. Anyway, for him, George, it was a good thing.

It would have been nice if it was my rich uncle! :)
But alas, my duty to the poor soul was to bring his ashes back to the States where his mom is buried. Good news is, flights are cheap right now, like $350.

BTW, my location is Buffalo, NY.

    Greetings from across the lake!

    You are a good man!

I have met many TBers and have done many gear deals, and everyone I have had the pleasure to deal with was top notch. We are really lucky that we have the forcefield up that prevents the knobs from entering!

    P.S. My Condolences.
