How many of you are using shock-mount racks? If you are, do you prefer the metal-coil SKB-style, foam-surround ATA cases, or another style, maybe something like the Mesa/Boogie cases with rubber mounts? What advantages/disadvantages of each led you to that decision?

One word: Tubes. I chose the Boogie rack because it allows for air flow around my 20 tubes that are in my current rack. Not to mention they are built like tanks. They ain't cheap, and they ain't light, but they are the best.

I voteed ATA style case because they look so better than skb style.

Ok, they are not cheaper, not lighter but much more reliable than skb.

For those who know my gear, i have a cheap skb style 4U, i'd like to have that (see pics below) but I can't afford one.

It's so expensive in Belgium... I paid my skb style 140 euros. A real one costs 250.
