Shoreline gold...

    It looks really different on different pics. What does it look like in real life? Which one is closest?

    Bummer, I like the lower one best.
    Thats what Warmoth call shorelinegold in the Thriftshop.

    Definitely the top one. I used to have an American Deluxe P bass in shoreline gold. It's looks almost silver in some pictures, but it definitely looks like a pale gold in person. It's a cool color.

    Maybe its Astec gold that I like. Isnt that a more golden color? Has anyone got pics of that color? Does it have the same small grain as slg? Not a silly flakecolor, right?

    I really like that 2nd pic. I recall seeing a Jazz in almost the exact same color on the Sadowsky site once. I believe they labeled it as Shoreline Gold. Really nice golden color, looked classy.

    As anyone can plainly see, the real Shoreline Gold lies somewhere between the two original pictures. It is, in my opinion, a very nice color. Nonetheless, I own no basses of this hue.

    My RB5 looks like both pictures. In a brighter light(either sunlight or bright stagelights) it looks like the top one(silvery). In dimmer room it look like the bottom one (more gold hue)
