    Hi gang,

I just bought into the pre/power rig setup.
I have a furman on top of the units and it's
kind of a mess in the back. Having very short
power cord to plug the units into the power
condition would help. Is this a good idea?
Anyone know where one could buy such a
    thing?

    thanks!

  2. Get some of those straps that lock in place, tie them all together and duct tape them to the side.:D

    Works real well:D :D

  3. The post above is the easiest solution. But if you must have a true short cord, go to the hardware store and buy some raw power plugs, cut your cords to length, install the new plugs. Voila.

  4. Nylon cable ties. Get them at bike shops or any hardware store. Neatly wrap the cords then tie them. If you have anchor points, such as rear rack rails, anchor here.

I mounted a power strip in the back of my rack, and have all internal devices plugging into it. A single short cord from the power strip can be plugged into a standard extension cord.

You can also plug your Radio Shack line quality test box into the power strip and check everything in one test. Never leave home without it.

Raw power plugs are HOT! Those things are sexy!!! I should use one for the power cord for my head, even though the plug I have on there now is working fine. Its just not hot looking :(

Seriously though, those things look awesome!
