Sweetwater has short scales posted at two grand:
Available September 2019?
These 2019 NAMM announcements are killing me!
Hmm...Sweetwater site also says these have active electronics (EBMM announcement differs) and only 100 being made.
For that price I want another PUP by the neck.
Lemme just put this here
Music Man needs to get on the short scale bandwagon
Great News.........I would take the Burgundy but I would prefer it with a Maple FB. It's bye bye to the Stingray Dropped Copper Special which I was looking to buy, and hello to the short scale Passive Stingray.
Correct, as the OP of that thread quietly and rightfully reminded us just a handful of minutes ago
on the other thread:
Short scale Stingray!
Pre EB Stingray owner here. At $800 maybe. $2K I'll pass.
Between the new Mustangs, the announced Gibson SS and now this, it's just a great time time to be a short scale player.
If they made a shorty s.u.b. i'd be in. Just bedroom player so $2k way too much for me. Of the low priced long scales i played s.u.b. felt the best. Would give me more shorty options too.
Holy. Crap. I must have one of these.
The new Nordstrand short scale bass looks pretty interesting for anyone that doesn’t want to shell out $2k. They’re supposed to be around $750.
I like my shorties. I have a few, and I have more than a few 34s. I want a 32!!!!!!!!
I have had a short-scale "Stingray" for the past five years now. ("Mikro" scale, actually)
It's my favorite platform for tapewounds at the moment...
I wonder if it means there’s a line of short scale strings coming from them too?
Damn, I kinda want one of these now. I’d prefer if it were an HH, but still.
It looks like it didn't eat its vegetables and never grew up.
Me like it!!
the shorter scale will make the G string fuller with more bass
Would love to have one. Too bad it’s such a limited run.
