anyone move from short scale to long scale

    reasons?

  2. I play both. A32' & a 35" scale.
    Wink

  3. I went from a 32" to 34" and now I am back at 32" but toying with the idea of a new bass and I might go back to 34" not sure yet. I really like the comfort of my 32"
The reason I went to 34" from 32" was I had some money and decided to get a new bass. My band mates said they did not like my Yamaha so I bought a Fender Jazz. Five years later I sold the Fender to buy a new amp and started playing my Yamaha MBII again and all of a sudden my band mates are telling me my Fender sounded like a piece of crap and that my Yamaha is really sweet sounding. Go figure. Truth be told I prefer the feel of my Yamaha to the Fender.

    I've got about 15 long-scales and 10 short-scales, I like both.
