Up for sale for your viewing pleasure is a beautiful Shortbass! The "poor man's" Birdsong. Barely played... rarely played... seriously still brand spanking new!! Been sitting on my guitar rack collecting dust. Needs a loving home. I've had this up in the classifieds before with some nibbles but no bites. TI flats on her... Fabulous sound! Don't miss out! Steal of a deal if you ask me! Asking $700 shipped to your door (will be packed safely by FedEx) Have a great day!! One week Sale then she's off the market... again... lol!
$725 for this week only!! C'mon guys!! Great deal on a virtually flawless, fantabulous, gorgeous Shortbass!! Can't afford a Birdsong?!? This IS a Birdsong!! Just minus some extras... only real difference between this and a Birdsong... the tuners (generic vs Hipshots)... the bridge (again, generic vs hipshots)... and less extra "trim" in the finish than a Birdsong. Same craftsmanship... and crafted by Scott Beckwith himself (the man behind Birdsong guitars). Same awesome pickup in the neck as a Corto Bass (really killer tone).
Question. Is there a reason the bridge saddles are cranked all the way down? Is there an intonation issue?
Hey... if I remember correctly, that’s how she’s been from the get go... even when she was sporting Chromes. And last I checked, all was good... But just in case, I’ll check and make sure the intonation is dialed in!! Thanks for chiming in!
Final and only price drop!! 700 clams! Best deal on a poor mans Birdsong! Last week for this beauty on the chopping block, then retiring to my wall of bass guitars to be admired and occasional played. Would love to find her a new home! She’s to good of a bass to be “wall art”!
