Should I put screws in these pickup cover holes?

I bought an 11 hole pickguard for my recently acquired Fernandes J. With this Tort pickguard, and it's battle scars, it has a vintage Fenderish vibe to it. The only problem is that there are 2 holes for a front pickup cover. I did not see that information in the catalog. Should I put screws to fill these holes or leave them alone?

I've done that before with my Brice Douglas 5. Looked better that way I think.

The Behringer is still holding up just fine!

    Thx,

Here is a pic (crappy pic) of the pickguard. I think it turned out pretty good.

You don't need those screws. So, I would put them in and see whether you like the look better with or without.

My vote is for no screws. When did you see screws in a vintage instrument where someone has removed the covers?

It looks kinda odd because there were no holes in the bass (no cover installed.)
