yes all of this in one cab!!
    mid 80's carvin.
    sounds great!!!
but big. not 810 big but between that and a 610.
i can get for my 410 crate cab and a empty 412 cab.

or should i just replace the cab with bass speakers?
it is a sealed cab, but where can i find sealed bass speakers? i will figure out the inner volume later.
    and it is big!!!

    so which one sounds better?

Why not sell it all and buy a brand new Avatar 4x10 or something...

alright i have it and it sounds great and loud, but..
the guy said it was 8 ohms. but my ohm meter reads 2.6
and i tested on three speakers. two were dead on 4 ohm. and the other was supposed to be 16 but read 13.4 ohms.
so what is the deal? is there a bad speaker?

the impedance value on speakers are pretty much just a range, they are not exact. The load also changes as you drive the speakers.

    so am i safe?
or should go up there and try to measure the other encloser that he has?

it is just that i have a new head on the way and i don't want to hurt this one.

on a side note: When micing a speaker, you do not want to place the mic in the center of the speaker, no sound is generated there. It is better to place the mic some where thst is approxamitly half way from the center on the con to the edge.
