    4 string. mighty mite pup.
what kind of pre amp do they have?
how do they sound as is?
    how much is the bart?
i think i would make it a fretless or an 8 string bass.
how much is really cheap for one in good condition?
is $150 a good enough price to beg my parents to front some of the money?

'o it is also in blue.

too many ?s for my head... :)
    but I will say this:
I played a 4 string (blue too) w/ the Bart last week, and it was a great little bass. No suckitude whatsoever! I was really impressed with the tone.

can't really address the MM p'up on a Curbow model- but it sounded dang good w/ the Bart!
It's a pretty narrow neck though, I don't know if you could fit 8 on there...

The store was listing it at about $650. Seems like they go used w/ the MM for about $300-ish...?

    $150 ain't bad I guess.
nice player, balanced fine, felt really good.
Dang, if you don't get it for $150, I will!

Go check out Greg Curbow's site for decent pricing on the Cort Curbow - he sells the Corts himself, and sets them up to his and your specs first.

$150 is a good price IMO. I came thisclose to buying one a few weeks ago (ended up with a cheap Steinberger Spirit instead), and will probably get one at some point in the future - they feel that good to me.

Curbow's are great little numbers. And of course I would say that 150 on one is a great deal. I got mine for $250 (ggrrrrr):D

I would say go for it but these new Curbows with the Bartolinis are supposed to be very impressive. i haven't been able to find one but you should try and look for one to try.
