Shoulder Injury

  1. So, the near-worst is upon me. I just came back from getting a cortisone shot in my left shoulder- that's my fretting-hand side. Interested in continuing to play music, I'm selling off some of my gear and a bass or two, and am in process of having a 10-string bass/baritone touch-board built by Kevin Siebold of "Krappy Guitars" notoriety.

I'll be wearing it strapped across my right shoulder instead of the customary left, and may learn my parts with the right hand. The whole thing is new anyway, but I really have little to no idea what I'm doing here.

Any advice, stories of experience, urban legend would be interesting to hear a least.

Here's a shot of the design so far:

We've had a good email exchange, now I'm selling to garner a down payment. Hey, I have to give myself permission to do something new here- so I can save my ability to play...
