My left Shoulder is killing me.The muscle feels tight all the way up my neck. I had to take 4 Advil to knock down the pain.
Anyone know what to do ? :help:

I notice that this happens a lot with one of my heavier basses. I get a large ache through my right shoulder. I find that stretching helps a LOT.

What type of strap do you use?

My Wife tried to massage around my upper shoulder and neck
and she could not do it. The Muscle was locked up tight.
I took a Muscle relaxant pill last night and that helped some. :)

Try a padded strap. It made a world of a difference to me. I also play a pretty heavy bass.

try a padded strap or they haev this thing that goes onto your straps, its like 5-6 suction cups that makes the weight be distriputed on your back and your shoulder. I'll ry to find the name of it, in one of my magizines, its like, 25 dollars.
  10. You my have "pinched " A nerve (been there , done that) Could be from just sleeping wierd or something stupid like that.

I ussualy go the the Chiroprcator- not for an adjustment but for the :1 heat
    2 electro
    3 ultrasound therapies

Works miracles unless you have somthing very wrong like RC injury.

    Good luck

Wider strap and/or lighter bass. (IMHO)

    My left shoulder hurts too.
Also maybe check out those straps that go over both shoulders?
