I really don’t write reviews but here’s the story. I play an Fbass and have a Protec case that came with it. Before lockdown I was playing a fair amount of gigs as a band member, and hired gun. The case served me well but was more of a “ no problem, no thinking about it” thing. Coming out of the studio one night the drummer and I are standing by our cares talking when my case strap gives way. To be fair, I was only using one strap. It turns out that the center piece in the buckle snapped off. I baby my gear so I’m not happy. Zero damage to my bass so...I recommend Protec cases. Here is where the story gets interesting. I figure that I’ll go to a luggage repair shop to get it fixed then...lockdown. I can’t seem to find a replacement buckle on line that won’t require me sewing it in so I email Protec to ask for their recommendation. Protec gets back to me saying that this might be a warranty issue. They request that I send a picture of the issue s a cop of my receipt and voila, they ship me a new case under warranty. I am impressed! Thank you Protec.
