This is a Fender 1997 American Standard Jazz Bass with an aftermarket pearloid pickguard. The pickguard is back to white stock now, which I think looks better. It's a fine bass.[IMG]

Doesn't look like a jazz bass to me. :) But I guess mine's as conventional as they get.

Hey man, hows the band doing? I remember about 2 years ago or maybe even 3 or 4, heck I forget now. I stumbled across your site on mp3 or something and got the free cd. Been awhile, but I remember when I got on TB it hit me one time when I saw nino, becuase of your e-mail address when I corresponded about the cd.

Thanks, Brian... I have all of $1625 invested in the top four. From left to right: 97 MIA JD5, 78 Jazz, 97 MIA JD5, 68 Jazz. Actually less... I got a Silvertone tube amp with the 68 for $125:D

    I love this game;)

Here is my favorite 5-string Jazz bass.

(Even more shameless promotion of me, TB, FMIC, and my band, the BWB. :))

Well, you said Jazz basses, but since others have stretched the meaning, I'll post mine. It is much more 'Jazz' than some posted in this thread.;)

I remember you. We have a new demo out. :) The band is going kinda slow right now. Drummer tore ligiments in his right ankle & before thet we haven't giged due to conflicting schedules. As soon as the drummers frail ankle heels :) we're going to start gigging again.!!!!

Well if your ever down south in memphis look me up. I handle all the Hard Rock cafe band's and also do about 3-4 other club's each month.

If your comming through I can more then likely throw you in for a set with alittle advance notice.
