Show me some Natural Ash P-basses

  1. ... preferably with black pickguards. I rarely see them, And i cant find any picture. Im gassing bad for one.

    not a very good pic, but this is my '76 fretless I bought new and later added another set of P pups. Oh yeah, also added brass strike plate to last inch of the fingerboard, and converted to 5-string, and Schaller roller bridge. And rewired with coax, wired in stereo, and phase switch.

    And no, it's not exactly original...

    I'm also LOVING that bass. If it's a Japanese bass then why the U.S. tag on it? U.S. pups perhaps?

    I just ordered an American Fender p bass in butterscotch blond with a maple fret board and black pick guard. Its back ordered and I hear Fender is only going to start in February to fill orders. I can’t wait to get it. :hyper:

    Here's my '83 Gold P Elite II. No black picguard though - I'm a sucker for MOP.
