Matte satin finish over mahogany body
    Ebony fb
    Maple neck
    2 J99 passive pickups
    Engraved truss rod plate

Sorry for the crappy pic quality, I'm as bad at taking photos as I am at drawing. I'm good at one thing: downs-syndrome smiley faces.
  4. just got a Carvin catalog in the mail this week, i'm really gassing for a six stringer with a translucent finish :rollno:
  5. No pics...sorry...but mine is an AC-40 fretted...Spruce top, 2x2 headstock with a matching spruce laminate.

A nice acoustic-like sound that works VERY well with acoustic guitars.
  6. beautiful in it's simplicity.

No pic yet, but I just scored an LB-75A, quilt top deep enough to get lost in, very punchy and growly even with the stock electronics, yadayada. I just don't find much use in the mid control though.

    Claro Walnut Finish (gloss)
HB2-Humbucker in bridge position with coil splitter
    Pearl Block Inlays
  9. I guess I should say mine

    Passive J pups
    Walnut body
    Maple Neck
    Ebony fretboard
    Tung oiled neck and body

    Unknown 6 String
I got this one used. I'm not sure of the type of wood, except that the fretboard is obviously Ebony. It has active J pickups and a Sunburst finish. Gloss coating on neck and fretboard

I'll get pictures as soon as i can
  10. Here'sone I used to own, BB75 with a quilted maple top:

    That quilt is insane, man.
  13. I've always liked that duo.

Did you tell Carvin what kind of quilt you wanted or did you just leave it up to them?
  14. I used to have an LB70, but I sold.

lovely.. that 88 looks great. I always think '88 was a good year for basses!

    Here is my newish BB75

And me looking really stupid and uncomfortable:
I love the flexibility of the bb75, it can do a brilliant MM and Jazz impression and a really phat smooth R'n'B sound with beautiful clarity in the upper register.
