White RICs have a bad reputation of "yellowing" with time.:(

  6. While i was doing work experience I played two rick's, and surpringsly, I wasn't too impressed!

I really couldnt get those harmonics out, and the sound i was getting just wasnt me; but I love how, for example Chris Squire sounds, or the guy form the jam! its a wonderful sound.

And I'll agree, white with black is YUMMMM!!!

they had a black with white, and a metallic blue with white, both were hoootttttttties!! :D

Model 2030. Sounds kind of like a cross between a p-bass and a rick. It really cuts through the mix.

Here's some information from the Rickenbacker Registration page. Mine's an '86.

  14. I don't ever wander over here to the basses sector any more, but a software upgrade that is taking entirely too long has got me checking webpages I haven't seen in ages.

Here's my "white" Ric 4001 from like 1973, along with the Jazzes I play now. I have no clue how I ended up with all off-white guitars....
