So not too long ago on ebay I saw the perfect match for my strat - Ocean Turquoise P-Bass, Maple neck, American Standard from 97 or 98. But what really set it off is it had a big paint chip on the side near the jack - just like my strat. I put a band-aid on my strat because it totally looks cooler... I could have put a black pickguard, mismatched pickup covers, and a band-aid on the bass and I would have the coolest matched pair ever...

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has said bass here on TB. Also, any other bass you have in Ocean Turquoise I would love to see as well. Such a cool color! (I did a search and didn't find any for this color, soooo)

A little too greenish for my tastes but a nice finish for sure.

Any other pics of this bass? It looks ice blue on my screen.

  9. Couldn't be because it was yours once upon a time could it RS? Na, no way ;) Still plays like a dream BTW. Don't really understand why you needed me to take it off your hands.

I see what you mean... looks that way on my screen too. In real life, there is a blue green hue that the singer in my band has dubbed "aquateal."

I've changed up the pics; the body pic still looks a little icy blue, but the head stock has a little more green in it I think. Hard to get a good photo...
