im thinking of buying a semi hollow, and just wanna see a wide range of them
Strung with TI flats this really sounds great. I use it primarily in a 50's/60's cover band and sometimes in contemporary styled music. Love it!
Some neck dive, so I use a 3" leather strap... cuts it out mostly.
Also sanded down the high-gloss finish on the back of the neck... plays much more smoothly.
Dunno. I'm really quite new to all this (I picked up bass about a year and a half ago)...
With the cheapo roundwounds shipped I found the D & G strings to be way tinny sounding. With TI flats all four strings have fat depth. The 50/250/500 potentiometer to the right really allows for some flavor to the sound. At 50 it is pretty fat and mellow with only a hint of growl. 250 (and moreso at 500) the sound gains a lot of growl/grit and the flats really keep it fat sounding. OK, like I said, I'm new to all this so I hope I'm describing it in a way that makes sense!
call ureself pretty new im 15 and only been playing for 7 months, just got to save up alot with ma sataday job to get that bass!
LOL! My oldest daughter is nearly as old as you
Sometimes an old dog can learn a new trick
Good luck saving up! I've also heard good things about the "Artcore" hollowbody (semi? Ibanez?) and it seems to cost a little bit less.

On the left a Hofner 500/3 Bass, serial number 225, from 1960 I believe.
On the right an early '90s CiJ Fender Fretless Precision A/E, fairly rare, especially here in the UK.
IM OBSESSED WITH STARFIRES
I've been looking for a cheap knockoff, but everything I find is slightly different, vintage used, or to expensive. I just want a cheap, new bass with that look that i can beat around for fun
Here's My Lefty DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe:
My Waterstone Indra. Love this bass! Amazing for the price.

My Gibson Les Paul Signature and Epiphone Jack Casady Signature are pretty hard to beat if I do say so myself!
How much would that price be i like it?
I always jump at the chance to show this one off:
That is a SWEET Hofner!
Brand new for $650, and a bargain at that.
