Show us your Bass with Tremolo Bridge

Yes, it can accomodate to 22.225mm string spacing for a 5 string.

The kahler 7415 and the 7416 are the same model but with one more saddle for the 6 string.

4 string max spacing on 7410*: 16.963mm

5 string max spacing on 7410*: 12.70mm

4 string max spacing on 7415: 29.63mm

5 string max spacing on 7415: 22.225mm

6 string max spacing on 7416: 17.78mm

7 string max spacing on 7416: 14.816mm

But I am doubting that all the measurements are true, especially on the 7410.

* I doubt that these are true but I took the information on the site, the actual numbers IIRC are for the 7410: 22mm and 14mm.

nice info man, thanx so much!!:hyper:
btw, how much it cost for kahler 7415? in US$ please..;)

Thanks guys.

My first bass was a 1987 V440T ordered new from Carvin. It was very much like that one. My '87 had chrome hardware. Also, in '87 they had different pickups and one less switch and a graphite nut where this one is brass.

I sold it in a moment of stupidity in about '99.
Missed it ever since.

In 2003, I found this '86 V440T, very much like my first bass, on eBay and snatched it up.

I had to go look when the last time I posted a pic in here, and it was way back in 2009. Talk about old thread revival.

Well although that black model2 is gone, this lefty model2 took it's place not too long afterwords:

This is my main bass anymore fully modded no more p/j and has a preamp in it...and the Kahler :)

Ok, so how do you adjust the tremelo springs to personal pref and for the string gauges tension so it sits as you want it to when not useing for best forward and rearward trem action? Ive only had guitar trems with springs accessed thru back which allows for adjusting as needed with strings on and tuned (then of course you retune as needed after tweaking trem spring screws on each side as wanted. I really cant imagine how Id be able to get personalized setting without it being major hassle if I had to remove trem assembly to adjust the thing. What am I missing?

Theres some great looking trem basses in this post btw.
