    I really like the look of Gibson reflector knobs on a Jazz Bass. this is my project bass... The Sandberg bridge looks pretty sweet as well.

    I love the simple monochrome glam of these pearl domes on black metal.
    (Also, MAN it's hard to photograph pearl on black.)

  7. Like the Rob Allen stuff, I only use one knob on my basses, mounted on the bridge. This first batch of basses have a Honduras mahogany back, a flamed maple top with a walnut veneer stripe separating them. I sent some leftover body wood and had push-ons made for me, as I don't like the look of the ones with the set screw.

    Here is the raw batch:

    They have some cool stuff, but not exactly what I have. Besides, what's an extra $15 for the knobs I want when the bass was $1K.

    20181103_155714.jpg Had my Ibanez 1805's stock preamp upgraded to a John East Uni-pre 5 with Gold Chrome Knobs to better match the Gold hardware on the bass.
