Let's see all those frankenbasses.. Come on
if I had a digital camera, I could show my "Geddy Lakland" Frankenbass in progress
0_0.. That I must see.
it's basically a black MIM jazz body routed for a MM pup in the bridge, battery cavity, and side jack that I got for $30. Got an Allparts Geddy replacement neck that's gonna get a graphite nut once I sand it down to fit the slot. Bought Bartolini MM4CBC and 9CBJD(Classic Bass series) neck pup and NTBT preamp. either a MIM or BadassII bridge. tuners from a Schecter Model T, and Sadowsky stainless strings
-Schecter Model T Body
-Ibanez Roadstar II neck
-BassLines 1/4 lb P & Fender 62 RI J
-Ping Tunuing Keys
-MIM Jazz Bridge
I like that alot Nino...
Again from one of my previous threads
That's one sharp looking bass Nino
To bad the bass weight about 10,000 lbs. LOL
I'd be happy to play a 100000 lbs bass, i weigh about 1/100 of that must sustain for awhile that there bass, does it sound as sharp as it looks? I'll buy it off yah
Frankenfretlessbass: ibanez roadstar 2 guitar body with all the trem routs filled up, hohner neck that had a split fingerboard so I replaced it with a ebony one, ep eb neck pickup, tele guitar neck bridge pickup, maple pickguard, 2 volume and a 3 way switch, ebony/rosewood bridge and a wenge tailpiece. Basically any time I get a weird idea I do it to this bass instead of mutilating something good. And the thing actually sounds good.
these have been posted in a thread several months ago, but here they are again....
